inspired the way I live. And on a day like today they seem important.

We have arrived in London!

We are all settled in our little flat, in the Maida Vale (Northwest) area of  London, and just love it. It is nothing fancy, quite small. Downstairs we have 2 bedrooms, one just large enough for a single bed. A tiny bathroom. Up some steep and CREAKY stairs is our living area, and small but well equipped kitchen. We are on the 4th floor and look out over some rooftops where I'm just sure we will see Mary Poppins floating by at any moment. 

Sunshine is a very good thing!

We just spent 4 sun-filled days over in Eastern Oregon at Black Butte Ranch! We rode bikes, swam laps, sat out on the deck, read magazines, did a little yard work, did a little house-organizing, drank margaritas, barbequed, laughed a lot with my sister-in-law and her husband, looked for owls, caught up on phone calls and took deep breaths of the warm, pine-scented air!

Our sweet dog, Ellie, loved to lay out on the deck in the warm sun!

If you ask my friends and family they will tell you that I am not much of a shopper and that I rarely buy anything. I tend to be a jeans, t-shirt and a pair of boots kind of gal. That said, I do want to show you what I bought at Ann Taylor Loft yesterday. And no, that is not me in the photo.
